[ It's the crack of dawn when Azula receives this message and an accompanying picture of a red cherub-dragon. SHe probably didn't want this update so early, but damn it she's getting it anyway. ]
my bestest friend azulaboooooooooo where are you are you alright???
hey my place is big and cozy if you need a place to crash my gay ass was gonna go to peter pumpernickel's ship cause i guess i've become co-dependent but i figure i should probably be useful and not gay
actually thats impossible i guess i'll be a useful gay
anyway plsplspls don't ignore this text message me back okay byeeeee
[ There's so much to process here. When did she become his best friend, why does he think he can call her Azulaboo, who is Peter Pumpernickel??? But-- ]
It's just bad weather, it'll pass. It's not worth enduring the band of sex-crazed misfits you've no doubt invited to the house I question whether or not has been cleaned since everyone violently partied to death all over a month ago.
[ Klaus blows a raspberry. He'd like to help anyone he can help, but if he says there might be more people, he's fairly certain she'll turn down his invitation. Geez.
[ When she responded that way, it was with the expectation that he was going to be a useful gay and keep trying to invite more people to his cozy adobe.
So now he's put her in a situation she hates. Giving in. Was she really the first person he asked?? ]
[ Azula hadn't wanted to rely on anyone for help, but it was becoming more difficult to pass up any opportunities for warmth especially as her fingertips couldn't find the flames to call forth. Her relationship with Klaus was comforting in that she felt relatively safe because a) she could confidently kick his ass and b) she found herself easily trusting him to not do anything deserving of kicking his ass. He clearly knew her well enough to pry, and knowing it'd just be them (and the promise of a hot bath, of which he has no idea how much quicker that made her get out of brooding circle) made it impossible to deny his offer.
She has to traverse the cold in unsuitable clothing, fingers and toes frozen solid by the time she makes it to Klaus' house. The warmth that greets her once she's inside makes her question her own lonesome stupidity, although she wouldn't have guessed Klaus would be thinking of her first for any reason to have considered asking him for shelter. It takes her a moment to gather herself, teeth chattering, adjusting to the much more welcoming climate. ]
Klaus?
[ She yells out his name only to determine where he was, already peeling off boots and wet clothes as she meanders up the steps to greet him. ]
[Wow, grumpy!!! Assuming it's even remotely possible, Tanjiro casually goes above and beyond and stalks her username to wherever she stays, leaving a tiny parcel for her with "@ firefire" written on it.]
[If she opens it, there's a small, cracked covered bowl inside with a scoop of rice and a small tempura shrimp on top. Don't ask how or why he managed this. There's also a note under the bowl.]
Whoops, did it again. :P
